The best sleeper pick at each position for DraftKings daily fantasy basketball on Thursday, Jan. 7

The NBA takes it’s normal Thursday night respite on Jan. 7. After there were 11 games on the schedule and 22 teams in action around the league on a hectic Wednesday night in the Association, there are only four games on the docket for Thursday night with only eight teams in action. That makes daily fantasy basketball picks on DraftKings all the more crucial as one wrong pick or right sleeper pick could very well swing how a lineup fares.

With 22 of the NBA’s teams in action on Wednesday night, the sleepers were everywhere as a lot of deep sleepers actually emerged. Of course, the guys like Mario Chalmers and J.R. Smith with price tags putting them in the mid $4,000 range had big nights as they scored 49.1 and 36.1 fantasy points respectively in their matchups on Wednesday. However, the players who really could have swung leagues or tournaments on DraftKings were the guys like Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker and San Antonio Spurs forward David West, who both had big nights at incredibly reasonable prices, as did a player like Dwight Powell.

The action will start at 7 p.m. ET with the Atlanta Hawks taking on the Philadelphia 76ers. There are two games with an 8 p.m. ET start as the Boston Celtics match up with the Chicago Bulls and the Utah Jazz take on the Houston Rockets. The night of NBA action will then conclude on Thursday night as the Los Angeles Lakers stay in the state to take on the Sacramento Kings.

As always, be sure to stay up to date with FanSided’s fantasy basketball hub for all the advice players could need. Moreover, there is also advice for season-long fantasy basketball leagues and any questions can be asked on Twitter by mentioning the FanSided Fantasy account.

With all of that out of the way, these are the best sleepers at each position for DraftKings daily fantasy basketball on Thursday, Jan. 7.
