With his team in the playoffs, DeSean Jackson does not mince words for his former team and head coach Chip Kelly.

Chip Kelly’s time in Philadelphia is over after 3 seasons, and one of his biggest criticisms during that time were the questionable moves he made. One of them was letting go of popular wide receiver DeSean Jackson for nothing, and to a divisional rival no less. The move came back to haunt Kelly in his final season with the Redskins heading to the playoffs, thanks to their win over the Eagles, while Jackson held up an L to the crowd.

When broached about Kelly’s recent firing, Jackson spoke to Robert Klemko of the MMQB, saying that “bad karma comes back on you.”

"When you ruin a team like that, you do things to peoples’ families, you release people, you trade people, you get rid of good players who build something with the community, with the fans, with the kids—to have a guy come in and change up the team like that, I just believe in karma. I don’t have any bad words to say about him as far as what he feels he needs on his roster. But the guys that were on that roster created something special, from Jeremy Maclin to LeSean McCoy to Trent Cole to Todd Herremans and myself and Brandon Boykin; it goes on and on and on. When we were there, we were a brotherhood. So for everyone to go their separate ways and to see how it all ended up, it’s a very sad thing."

While it seemed like Kelly’s moves would amount to something, they all came crumbling down on him as the coach became too big for himself. While Kelly’s system didn’t fit with the Eagles, he is still one of the better game managers in football and should be given the chance to redeem himself elsewhere.
