Chicago Bulls vs Atlanta Hawks

The Chicago Bulls are really starting to hit their stride as a team. Winners of six straight games, the Bulls have unfortunately made up no ground in the Eastern Conference standings, still sitting in second place because the Cleveland Cavaliers have also put together a six-game win streak. Chicago will look to tie the NBA-best seven-game win streak on Saturday evening.

Jimmy Butler is putting together an All-Star type season, averaging a team-high 22.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. Pau Gasol is having quite the season of his own, averaging a double-double while Derrick Rose averages 14.6 points and 5.1 assists per game.

After being named the NBA coach of the year in 2015, Mike Budenholzer had some high expectations to live up to for this season. Many expected the young, hungry Atlanta Hawks to take control of the Southeast Division, but they’ve fallen back to second place behind the surprisingly successful Miami Heat.

Still, though, the Hawks are the fifth-best team in the East, just 4.5 games out of first place. Paul Millsap has been a key reason as to why the Hawks have been so successful this season and last, averaging 18.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. He and Al Horford are a force to be reckoned with in the post.
