Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt left the game against the Kansas City Chiefs with an injured leg.

The Houston Texans were an absolute disaster on offense in the AFC Wild Card Round Game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday. However, the same could not be said about their defense, as they played their hearts out to keep the Texans in it against Kansas City.

J.J. Watt is usually the heart and soul on defense for Houston, as he brings an unmatched passion to every single game. Against the Chiefs, Watt was having a good game for the Texans, but would leave the field limping off.

After rushing at the quarterback, Watt’s leg bent backwards in a way that it shouldn’t have and went down in immediate pain. Things would get chippy between the two teams after the play, as the Texans tried to fight without their leader on defense.

The Texans defense has been doing a great job all day of shutting down the Kansas City offense, but without Watt, it’s just too big of a blow that the Texans can’t overcome.

Hopefully his knee will be fine and it is nothing serious, but too many times has a knee bent a way that it shouldn’t that has had significant consequences.

Watt is an absolute warrior on the field and will be doing everything he can to get back on the field as quick as possible.
