Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin suffered a knee injury against the Houston Texans.

In an ugly football game in the playoffs, teams hope that they can escape with everyone healthy and no major injuries to worry about.

That isn’t the case for the Kansas City Chiefs, as they may have suffered a big blow in the third quarter of their AFC Wild Card game against the Houston Texans.

Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin took a shot to the knee on a play and had to be helped off the field. Maclin has been battling some nagging injuries and has had his share of injuries throughout the career.

As he was leaving the field, Maclin was in tears and had to be consoled.

Maclin is an absolute professional and one of the best guys in the league. He’s had a tremendous season for the Chiefs and has really been a huge weapon on offense for them every single game.

To see him in tears is heartbreaking, because he has given everything that he has for the team during their 10-game winning streak. Injuries are a part of the sport, but it’s never a good time when they happen.

It’s even harder when it happens to a great guy like Maclin. Hopefully he will be okay, but from the look of his reaction, it certainly doesn’t look good for him or Kansas City.
