This Mavericks team is awesome. After losing the DeAndre Jordan sweepstakes this past summer, Dallas was projected to fall out of the playoff race this season. Despite that, the Mavs are currently 21-16 and sit in fifth place in the West.

Not only has their play been awesome, but there seems to be true camaraderie among the players. The roster is compiled mostly of NBA vets who have had their different paths leading them to Dallas, but they get along really well and enjoy playing with one another.

Zaza Pachulia has been the center of their companionship, as he’s formed close relationships with his new teammates. His interactions with his teammates on Twitter and Instagram have provided some great entertainment for us here at Friendly Bounce. Today, Pachulia posted an Instagram video of his son hitting a jumper and celebrating like Mavs guard Wes Matthews.
