Vontaze Burfict delivered a cheap-shot and Adam Jones took an insane personal foul.

After A.J. Green gave the Cincinnati Bengals the lead late in the fourth quarter, they completely self-destructed in the closing moments of their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

First, Jeremy Hill fumbled the ball to give the Steelers the ball back when it looked like it was over, then a cheap shot delivered to Antonio Brown that should’ve got him ejected:

After the flag was thrown, Adam Jones argued with the ref which earned him an unsportsmanlike conduct. That led to a chip-shot field goal to give the Steelers the lead for good. It’s a shame that two of the best defenders in the game have cost the Bengals a game that was in their grasp.

For all of their shameful playoff history, perhaps no loss stings worse than this one. Cincinnati has nobody to blame but themselves for this defeat, while the Steelers will move on to face the Broncos. The Bengals fans reacted by throwing more garbage on the field – truly one of the most tortured fan bases in all of sports. What a sequence of events that truly couldn’t have been pulled off by another team except for the Cincinnati Bungals.
