team. 124.
The Kansas City Chiefs are finally winners in the postseason. After going 22 years and eight straight games in the postseason without an ounce of success, the Chiefs went into Houston and throttled the Texans for a 30-0 win. Kansas City was dominant throughout the contest, forcing Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer into five interceptions, including one by cancer survivor Eric Berry and another by rookie sensation Marcus Peters. Including the playoffs, Peters ow has nine interceptions which puts him in the lead across the National Football League. The Chiefs have a solid offense but it is the defense which could carry them to the Super Bowl and maybe a championship. Kansas City is loaded from Tamba Hali, Justin Houston, Derrick Johnson and Dontari Poe to a secondary that includes Sean Smith, Ron Parker and the aforementioned Berry and Peters. This week, the Chiefs will certainly face a tougher opponent in the New England Patriots, but confidence has to be running high that the team could spring another victory to give it 12 consecutive victories. At this point, anything seems possible.
. (11-5). Previous: . kansas city chiefs. 3
