The Chicago Bears have a lot of needs, but luckily this is a deep draft and they’re in a spot to maximize the value for the pick. In a division filled with the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Matt Stafford and the emerging Teddy Bridgewater, and boasting a need for a consistent pass rush, John Fox looks toward big Emmanuel Ogbah from Oklahoma State.

Ogbah pretty much owns real estate in the backfield. Whether dropping running backs or laying the smackdown on quarterbacks, he’s a big body who can rattle the best of them.

One thing Fox will love about Ogbah is how coachable the young man is. Compared to others his age, he started playing football rather late (seventh grade) and is still incredibly raw. He came to Oklahoma State as a raw product and is still well away from polished. This is not a bad thing, given how well he’s performed to date.

Also, from all reports out of Stillwater, Ogbah is a fantastic teammate. He is beloved by coaches and teammates, and is a workhorse leader in the locker room. For a Chicago Bears team cycling past the dysfunction of the Marc Trestman era, this is a perfect chemistry and skill pick. John Fox continues things moving in the right direction with the smart gamble.
. DE. Oklahoma State. Emmanuel Ogbah. 11. player. 57
