Vadal Alexander. 12. player. 15.
The New Orleans Saints were a disaster and it looks like their remarkable run under Sean Payton and with quarterback Drew Brees is in the rear view mirror. This team could be heading towards rebuilding but you have the feeling that the Saints aren’t going to go down without a fight and they will look to do whatever they can to extend Brees’ future.

That starts with the offensive line and keeping Brees upright and not absorbing a beating at the hands of defenders. Why not look locally for an interior lineman that can bolster that unit, LSU’s Vadal Alexander who is an absolute monster at 6’5″ and roughly 326 pounds.

While he’ll help curb interior pass rushers trying to get after Brees, he could play an integral role in the future of the team. The Saints will surely transition to a more run-oriented offense as Brees’ continues to fight father time, think of those ducks Peyton Manning has been throwing this season. Alexander could be a big player helping to open holes in the line to get the running backs some daylight to try and make some things happen.

Hometown player who fits some needs for the hometown team, seems like a no-brainer.
.
