The Carolina Panthers have lost their chance at a perfect season, but still can achieve their goal of being Super Bowl Champions

For much of the season the Carolina Panthers have been chasing NFL immortality. Their dreams of a perfect season came crashing down in their Week 15 loss to Atlanta, but all is not lost for Ron Rivera’s squad. They still have every opportunity to become Super Bowl Champions.

Critics of the Panthers will tell you that their loss to the Falcons exposed the team’s weaknesses. I wouldn’t argue with that point. There’s no perfect team in the NFL and most franchises had their weaknesses exposed well before Week 15. No one’s perfect, but this Panthers team is as close to perfection as it gets in the NFL.

Still, there are lots of doubters as it relates to Carolina’s Super Bowl prospects. Whether or not those critics don’t believe in Cam Newton, Ron Rivera or the Panthers defense they need to be prepared to eat their words in February.

So without further delay, read on to find out the five biggest reasons that the Carolina Panthers will prove the haters wrong and fulfill their Super Bowl destiny.
