A distraught Minnesota Vikings fan took to social media to call out Blair Walsh for missing a game winning 27 yard field goal.

The incredible range of emotion that is possible to experience on a football field was on full display yesterday at the conclusion of the Vikings and Seahawks Wild Card bout. The Vikings’ Blair Walsh suffered a kicker’s nightmare when he pulled a 27 yard field goal wide to the left to win the game and send his team to the next round. The Vikings fell to the Seahawks 10-9 in what was the third coldest game in NFL history at -6 degrees Fahrenheit.

The entire contest was one mental and physical endurance, and the final scoreline exhibits just how small the margin of error truly was. However despite the fact that the Vikings in many ways overachieved this season, many Minnesota fans are still frigid over Walsh’s missed kick. One such fan took the time out of his day to prove to the unfortunate kicker just how easy it is to sink a 27 yard field goal.

Although the field on which he stood was completely blanked in snow, and the height on his kick was surely less than ideal, this fan did in many ways prove his point. Despite an unfortunate end to the season Vikings fans should still look back on the 2015-16 season with fond memories. Although they will surely need time to thaw their frozen hearts.
