High Salary D

Kris Letang-Pittsburgh Penguins ($6,000): Letang has continued to play well since returning the day after Christmas from an injury. He’s got 10 points over his last six games and most-recently picked up a goal against Carolina on Tuesday night. When healthy and playing to his ability, Letang is one of the best fantasy defensemen available. He isn’t overpriced as this point, making him a top target for your lineup tonight.

Ryan Suter-Minnesota Wild ($6,100): Suter isn’t usually thought of as a big fantasy producer but he is averaging 3.6 fantasy points a game this year and has six goals with 24 assists. He currently has a two-game point streak going and had a big game Tuesday with a goal and an assist versus Buffalo. He gets a favorable matchup with Winnipeg tonight, the 21st-ranked team against opposing defensemen.

High Value D

Kevin Miller-Boston Bruins ($2,900): Miller is a deep sleeper tonight, but he won’t cost you much at all, making the risk low. He has just 10 points this season but picked up a goal on Wednesday night. It was his first point in five games but if he happens to find the scoresheet tonight you’ll be rewarded, as he likely won’t have many owners. Take a chance on Miller and hope it pays off.

Hampus Lindholm-Anaheim Ducks ($3,900): Lindholm picked up an assist on Wednesday and now has two assists in his last three games. With just 10 total points, he hasn’t been a reliable fantasy source this season. However, tonight is a night where you need to find some hidden gems. It’s not unreasonable to think he has a chance to get on the scoresheet tonight. Dallas is ranked 22 in fantasy points allowed to defensemen, making Lindholm a solid sleeper pick.
