While many of the MLB’s managers have had great success over the years, here are five managers that could end up on the hot seat during the 2016 MLB season.

It is still over a month away from when pitchers and catchers have to report to Spring Training, but in reality Major League Baseball is only a few weeks away from the 2016 season being a reality.

Teams like the World Series Champion Kansas City Royals and their in-state in the St.Louis Cardinals will stand as two of a handful of teams with World Series aspirations in 2016. There are obviously several more teams that are vying for the postseason this fall after lengthy absences like the Miami Marlins or the San Diego Padres, both under new leadership in the dugout.

While most of the league’s 30 managers won’t likely feel the pressure in 2016, there are a select few that could very well end up on hot seat at some point this upcoming season. From achieving far less than expected with a deep payroll to being unable to reach the postseason to flat out dissatisfaction from the club’s supporters, there are many ways that a manager can find himself on the metaphorical hot seat this upcoming season.

Without further ado, here are the five big league managers that are under the most pressure to succeed in 2016, as these five MLB managers could end up on the hot seat either this summer or fall.
