Ben Roethlisberger update: Steelers QB expected to make start vs Broncos
By Jack Crosby

Although he’s banged up, Ben Roethlisberger will likely be starting against the Broncos on Sunday.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are taking on the Denver Broncos Sunday in an AFC Divisional Playoff matchup, and they’re already coming into this one at a disadvantage, having to go without the services of wide receiver Antonio Brown. Now that they know Brown is out with that concussion he suffered last weekend, the attention immediately turned to whether or not they’d even have their quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger.
Well, there might actually be some good news on that front.
According to Sal Paolantonio, Roethlisberger will in fact make the trip to Denver and is also expected to make the start as the Steelers look to advance in the playoffs.

This is good news for the Steelers, as if they had to put Landry Jones under center against that Denver defense, they’d be in some serious trouble. On the other hand, though, you have to wonder what kind of Roethlisberger they’re going to get.
Having battled injury all season once again. the Steelers quarterback was knocked out of the Wild Card bout against the Bengals last Saturday night with a shoulder injury. He would return to the game, however, he’s still banged up mightily. They’ll have their star under center, but they won’t have the best version of him by any means.
But, we’ll just have to wait until Sunday to see what version of Ben shows up, because he has surprised us all before when he was injured.
