DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 16
High Value PG
Dennis Schroder-Atlanta Hawks (5,000): Schroder produced solid numbers when he was on the floor last night but only played 19 minutes in the Hawks OT loss. He had 16 points, five boards, and an assist, but his uncertain spot in Atlanta’s rotation holds him back from being a better fantasy option. If Jeff Teague’s ankle flares up or Atlanta tries to steal him some rest, Schroder would be a great play agains Brooklyn tonight, but with Teague dominating the minutes at PG there is only so much Schroder can do in limited time. ∗
Ramon Sessions-Washington Wizards (4,300): Sessions had another solid game last night with 10 points, five assists, and two steals for a total of 24.1 fantasy points. He has at least 22 fantasy points in three straight and seven of his last ten games, and he should get a few more minutes than usual tonight with Brad Beal likely sitting out the second half of the Wizards back-t0-back. ∗∗
Donald Sloan-Brooklyn Nets(4,000): Sloan is one of the cheapest starting PG available tonight, but he seems to have secured the job over Shane Larkin who was expected to get all the time at the point after the injury to Jarrett Jack. Sloan has stepped up, though, with two games of over 33 fantasy points in his last four including his best game of the year last night when he had 15 points, nine assists, and nine rebounds against the Blazers. He is so cheap that even a mediocre outing is a solid value play, so give him a look if you have to go cheap tonight as he and the Nets take on the Hawks.∗∗∗∗
