Nike drops Kobe Bryant-themed song (Video)

Nike and Grammy-winning jazz artist Robert Glasper have released a Kobe Bryant-themed song.

Kobe Bryant is about to call it a career for the Los Angeles Lakers and he left a legacy with the team and the league that will remember him as one of the greatest to every play the game of basketball. With a legendary career coming to a close in the coming months, Nike and Grammy-winning jazz artist Robert Glasper have come together to create a track to honor Bryant’s legendary career in the NBA.

The track is titled “Be Courageous” and features some of the most famous moments of Bryant’s career. The video shows the making of the song and how Glasper wants the right vibe and message to be sent through the music. The date April 4, 1968 plays a big importance in the song, as that was they day the world lost a great leader in Martin Luther King Jr.

The video really highlights both the accomplishments and even some of the struggles that Bryant had to overcome in his career. With so many legendary moments on the court, the song had to be just right to really get the message across of all the things that Bryant has done for the game.
