A list of the confirmed entrants into the 2016 WWE Royal Rumble match after the Jan. 18 episode of RAW

The 2016 WWE Royal Rumble is upon us and things look like they are about to get absolutely insane. Not only is the company already scrambling due to a multitude of injuries throughout the promotion’s roster, but this will also be the first Royal Rumble match in history where the champion will defend his title. Of course, this is all part of Vince and Stephanie McMahon’s plight to dethrone the current champ in Roman Reigns.

Only furthering their vendetta against Reigns for his disregard for theirs and Triple H’s authority over him and the rest of the roster, Vince and Stephanie announced on the Jan. 18 episode of RAW that Lesnar is going to be entering the Rumble match at No. 1 and will have to watch all 29 other competitors go over the top rope if he is to leave the pay-per-view as champ.

There are no other entry numbers announced after the go-home RAW, however, there are a number of other competitors who have announced their entry into the match to compete for Reigns’ title. The list of entrants into the 2016 Royal Rumble after the Jan. 18 episode of RAW is as follows (per WWE.com):

  • Champion, Roman Reigns (No. 1 Entrant)
  • Bray Wyatt
  • Braun Strowman
  • Luke Harper
  • Erick Rowan
  • Chris Jericho
  • Ryback
  • Curtis Axel
  • Big Show
  • Brock Lesnar
  • Dolph Ziggler
  • Stardust
  • Sheamus

There will obviously be surprise entrants in the 30-man match, including guys not currently on the roster, as there are every year. All we know as of now, though, is that these 12 men will be entering the ring on Sunday to try and win or retain the title, that Roman will enter the squared circle first, and that things have the potential to go absolutely bonkers in Orlando, FL for the Royal Rumble.
