The best sleepers at each position for DraftKings daily fantasy basketball on Tuesday, Jan. 19

Coming out of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday in the NBA where there were 10 games on the schedule, the action dies down a great deal on Tuesday, Jan. 19. There are only four games on the schedule on Tuesday, meaning that there are only eight teams and rosters for daily fantasy basketball players to build their DraftKings lineups with and to try and find the day’s best sleepers on.

Monday on the holiday saw some monster fantasy performances and big-time sleepers emerge. Though not a sleeper, the performance of Kemba Walker deserves recognition as the Charlotte Hornets point guard went berserk and put up 80.75 fantasy points in DraftKings scoring.

In terms of the sleepers, though, Boston Celtics point guard Marcus Smart had a nice night with 39 fantasy points at only $4,400, as did his teammate Avery Bradley with 40.5 fantasy points at only $5,500. Moreover, Brooklyn Nets forward Joe Johnson also had a quality fantasy outing on MLK Day as the veteran put up 39.25 points while being priced at only $5,000. Capping off the sleepers was Portland Trail Blazers center Mason Plumlee who put up 38.75 fantasy points with just a $4,900 salary.

The NBA action on Tuesday will kickoff with the Milwaukee Bucks going to South Beach to take on the Miami Heat with a 7:30 p.m. ET start time. Next up will be the Minnesota Timberwolves facing off with the New Orleans Pelicans at 8 p.m. ET. The Indiana Pacers taking on the Phoenix Suns will be up next with a 9 p.m. ET start time with that matchup and the matchup between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets capping off the night.
