Minnesota Timberwolves sophomore phenom Andrew Wiggins dunked right over Dallas Mavericks center JaVale McGee.
It’s a new day and there’s a new highlight of young Minnesota Timberwolves phenom Andrew Wiggins dunking over an opponent. His latest victim on Wednesday night was Dallas Mavericks center JaVale McGee.
McGee is no stranger to being on the wrong side of things on the basketball court, and it was no different on Wednesday night.
After Wiggins cut to the hoop, point guard Ricky Rubio hit him with a nice pass in stride and Wiggins had some speed behind him as he went up strong with one hand.
By the time he went up, it was already too late for McGee, who made a concerted effort to try and get up and match up with him.
It wasn’t meant to be and ending up on a poster was the end result.

Wiggins has some power and explosiveness behind him when he throws down his big dunks and it makes him tough to stop at the rim.
The Timberwolves might be headed for another top pick in the draft, but there’s plenty of talent on the team for them to be excited about as they move forward.
Wiggins is one of those young players leading the charge and he’s explosive doing it. As for McGee, at least he tried.
