Here are my FanDuel picks for January 20:

Next: Point Guards

Jan 18, 2016; Dallas, TX, USA; Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart (36) brings the ball up court as Dallas Mavericks guard Deron Williams (8) defends during the first half at the American Airlines Center. The Mavericks defeat the Celtics 118-113 in overtime. Mandatory Credit: Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Point Guards:

PG – Marcus Smart – Smart is quietly starting to put up some solid numbers. I like him across multiple formats because he is so talented and he has a pretty high dose of upside. If you play in regular season leagues I would suggest picking him up as he is playing with some nice confidence right now.

PG – J.J. Barea – Barea is likely to be filling in for and should wind up with the bulk of the backup point guard minutes with Raymond Felton sitting out tonight. He is a fairly high upside replacement option for Felton and has been known to drop 30 plus fantasy points in this role. That makes him a nice value play for tonight.

Next: Shooting Guards

Jan 12, 2016; Milwaukee, WI, USA; Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler (21) takes a shot against Milwaukee Bucks forward John Henson (31) in the third quarter at BMO Harris Bradley Center. Mandatory Credit: Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Shooting Guards:

SG – Jimmy Butler – I am sticking to the big guns tonight at the SG position. Butler is playing incredibly well lately and should continue to be a major force for the Bulls and for fantasy owners. Get him active across all formats.

SG – DeMar DeRozan – DeRozan is playing excellent lately as all of his last four games he has scored over 32 fantasy points. I like his match-up tonight and think that he should be good for a similar dose of fantasy points against the Celtics.

Next: Small Forwards

Jan 16, 2016; Philadelphia, PA, USA; Philadelphia 76ers forward Robert Covington (33) reacts after a three point score against the Portland Trail Blazers during the first half at Wells Fargo Center. Mandatory Credit: Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Small Forwards:

SF – Robert Covington – Covington is back to being a nice fantasy option for the struggling 76ers and should be as long as he can stay healthy. His price is starting to go up a little bit and soon he will cost more than I want to spend, but for now I think he is a good enough bargain and should be solid for us tonight.

SF – Jae Crowder – Crowder is easily becoming one of my favorite daily league players as you know if you follow many of these articles. Crowder is very consistent and is not having such a huge day that he is too expensive and still is producing at a nice clip. Get Crowder active and you have a pretty safe bet for his 25-29 fantasy points.

Next: Power Forwards and Center

Jan 4, 2016; Philadelphia, PA, USA; Philadelphia 76ers forward Nerlens Noel (4) in a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Wells Fargo Center. The 76ers won 109-99. Mandatory Credit: Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Power Forwards:

PF – Nerlens Noel – Here is another guy who has been pretty hot lately and has scored over 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games. I think he is showing some maturity in his game and he should be able to keep this hot streak up. Give him a go tonight and ride this streak while you can.

PF – Trey Lyles – Lyles has been a force while Derrick Favors has been out. He also is a very cheap option and as long as Favors is sidelined he should remain a very viable option for daily league owners and save us a ton of roster money.

Center:

C – DeMarcus Cousins – Cousins is an incredible player and is almost certain to drop over 40 fantasy points. We were able to save enough roster money to make a big splash at the Center position and I hope that is exactly what ‘Boogie’ Cousins does for us tonight.
