What time does Super Bowl 50 start?
Super Bowl 50 will be played in Santa Clara, California, at Levi’s Stadium at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
Super Bowl 50 is exactly two weeks away. The 50th rendition of the Super Bowl will be played in Santa Clara, California, at Levi’s Stadium, the new home of the San Francisco 49ers. The game is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time, 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time, between the winner of the AFC and the NFC. The Super Bowl usually gets underway close to the scheduled start time, but you can expect this particular game to not kick off until 6:35-6:40 Eastern Time due to all pregame festivities, since it is the 50th edition of the country’s largest sporting event.
The Super Bowl has an interesting combination of artists performing at this year’s halftime show. Coldplay was originally scheduled to perform by themselves, but the alternative rock group will not perform by themselves. Beyonce, who gave a mesmerizing performance at Super Bowl 47, and Bruno Mars, who performed at Super Bowl 48, will be joining the world-renowned group.
It will be interesting to see how these three separate styles and genres mesh together, but I am sure they will be choreographing and learning how to harmonize their unique vocals for the next two weeks to give what is anticipated to be the best Super Bowl halftime show performance of all time.
