Luol Deng drops monster dunk on Chicago Bulls (Video)
Miami Heat forward Luol Deng dropped a sick dunk on his old team, the Chicago Bulls.
It’s always a welcome sight when a player returns to face their old team in the NBA. Luol Deng was making yet another return to Chicago on Monday night, when the Miami Heat took on the Chicago Bulls and Deng didn’t disappoint in front of his former home crowd.
Although he’s on the older side of things now, Deng showed that he’s still got it with a sick drive, twist and dunk over the Bulls’ defense.
As Deng got a pass out beyond the arc, he drove right at the hoop and took off for a dunk. With Nikola Mirotic in his way, Deng had to twist his way around him and he did it with ease.
The slam was the perfect way to cap off the big-time moves that he used to get to the hoop in the first place. The Bulls are always a defense-first team, but they have struggled lately in the interior without center Joakim Noah.
With open lanes and an exploited defense, teams are getting opportunities that they might not normally have when playing the Bulls.
It was another homecoming for Deng and he took full advantage of the big play in front of him.
