The first two games of the night tip off at 7:00 PM ET when the Pacers and Clippers meet in Indiana and two of the worst teams in the league meet as the Suns visit the 76ers. At 7:30, three more games get going as the Knicks host the Thunder, the Wizards and Toronto meet for the fourth time this season, and the Nets host the Heat. The Bucks and Magic continue the Eastern Conference competitions at 8:00 before the focus shifts to the West Coast for the two late games At 10:00, the Kings have to try and bounce back from last night’s brutal double-overtime loss as they visit the Blazers in Portland, and in the final game of the day the Lakers host the Mavericks.
It’s important to note that Miami, Orlando, Sacramento, and Washington play for the second day in a row tonight, so make sure to take that into consideration when assembling your lineups. To see who I like from those four teams and the other dozen teams taking the court, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides. You’ll find two slides per position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible. I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.
Since the start of 2016, I also have been ranking my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but the short version is “more stars=more confidence.” On the final slide of the post, you can see my results for the last three weeks at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineups for today’s contests.
