Josh Norman will be one of the NFL’s most coveted free agents this offseason. Here are five teams that can outbid the Carolina Panthers for his services

The Carolina Panthers will have a huge challenge on their hands this offseason no matter the outcome of Super Bowl 50. Retaining star cornerback Josh Norman is going to require the team to spend a lot of its available cash. They will be faced with either handing him a big money long-term deal or using their franchise tag to retain their star corner.

The Panthers and Norman negotiated with one another at various points before and during the season, but never really got close to a deal. It was a gamble for both parties that’s going to pay off huge for the All-Pro cornerback.

Still, it’s not every NFL franchise that has the necessary cap space to sign a player like Norman. He’ll be looking for big bucks so any team interested in the Coastal Carolina product will need to really commit to him as a building block for their future. He will undoubtedly sign a contract that will make him one of the NFL’s highest paid cornerbacks after the excellent season he’s had.

So if the Panthers aren’t able to re-sign Norman, what NFL teams will be in line to court the brash defensive back? Here are five NFL teams who would be first in line to sign Josh Norman away from the Panthers.
