5. Los Angeles Rams

I can’t imagine a better way for a team to announce its arrival to the Los Angeles crowd than by signing one of the NFL’s top free agents. Josh Norman has star power and charisma that both would play great in the City of Angels.

The Rams are set at one cornerback spot with Janoris Jenkins, but Trumaine Johnson isn’t the long-term answer on the other side of the field. Having Norman on one side and Jenkins on the other would be a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks and wideouts.

Make no mistake though, this signing would be about making a splash in Southern California. The team needs a superstar to market and Norman certainly knows how to create national headlines. Just recall his famous feuds with most of the wide receivers in the NFC this past year as evidence of that fact.

The Rams also have plenty of cap space to make this move happen. They have over 33 million dollars of available money to spend this offseason; even Norman won’t demand a contract that is north of 30 million.

Josh Norman signing for the Los Angeles Rams would be good for the franchise and better for the entertainment of fans around the league.
