Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James slammed home a one-handed alley-oop off a beautiful feed from J.R. Smith.

LeBron James turned a sloppy first-half effort by the Cleveland Cavaliers against the Phoenix Suns, and turned it into an absolute rout of the Suns in the second half with some very big alley-oop slams.

Twice in the third quarter, James had two monstrous slams off beautiful feeds from J.R. Smith. The first slam came off a lob off the backboard and the second one was an impressive one-handed slam.

While Smith has always had a label of being a shoot-first guy on the court, he did a pretty fine job of shedding that label with two big lobs to James. It doesn’t matter if a guy is shoot-first, when James is trailing and has a chance to throw down a slam that will crush the souls of opponents, then it’s almost an obligation to throw up the alley-oop.

The young Suns fought hard in the first half against Cleveland, but James quickly squashed all hope that they had with two huge alley-oop slams. Whatever fire the Cavaliers were lacking in the first quarter and prior to the game against the Suns, they sure found at halftime.
