Florida State Seminoles football: 5 must-have recruits
Who do the Florida State Seminoles need to reel in for National Signing Day?
The Florida State Seminoles are coming off a 10-3 season in their first year without quarterback Jameis Winston at the helm. They finished off the season with a loss to Houston in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
Florida State usually has one of the best-ranked classes coming out of National Signing Day. Before this year’s version even begins, they sit at No. 7 after getting commitments from one 5-star recruit, eleven 4-star recruits, and nine 3-star recruits, according to Scout. The class is headlined by 5-star cornerback Levonta Taylor out of Ocean Lakes High School in Virginia Beach, VA.
However, the Seminoles will likely be nowhere close to finished as they are looking at bringing in other recruits on National Signing Day. If they can bring in another 5-star talent, it could slide them further up the ladder to possibly rival LSU and Ohio State, who are No. 1 and 2, respectively, in Scout’s ranking.
Wednesday’s National Signing Day will be a big one for the Seminoles. Can they bring in another top talent to help elevate next season’s team? Can they fill the necessary holes on their roster?
With this in mind, here are five must-have recruits for the Seminoles to sign.
