It appears that Chris Paul has begun watching Game of Thrones.

Better late than never.

According to an image shared on Instagram by ‘NBA on ESPN,’ Chris Paul seems to have finally decided it was high time to see what all the fuss was about regarding HBO’s runaway hit series, Game of Thrones. In the photo, he appears to be sitting in a Clippers facility room with the third episode of Season 1 playing on his laptop computer.

It’s unclear from the post whether Paul is truly watching the episode for the first time – for all we know, he could be a massive GOT junkie who’s revisiting the first season for the second or third time. That said, the image’s caption begins with “NO SPOILERS!” in all caps, so maybe the photographer knows more than we do and this actually is Paul’s first time viewing an episode that first aired in spring of 2011. The Los Angeles superstar does have noise-canceling headphones on and seems to be fairly hunkered down and intent on what he’s viewing.

If he is indeed just beginning the award-winning series, he’s got a lot of catching up to do. There have already been five full seasons of the fantasy series, and the forthcoming sixth season is set to premiere on April 24 of this year.

Someone should make sure to document CP3’s reaction to the Red Wedding episode. The look on the NBA point guard’s face is bound to be priceless.
