4. Carlos Becker, 4-star CB

Yes, I know, this list is filled with cornerbacks, but really that’s who Urban Meyer and the staff are looking to cash in on. A guy who was barely on anyone’s radar at the beginning of the 2015 season, Carlos Becker has shot up the recruiting rankings like a bolt of lightning. He was once ranked near the 500-range nationally and he’s now a top 150 player and was even named an Under Armour All-American.

Florida has been good to Meyer over the course of his coaching career since he won national titles with the Florida Gators in 2006 and 2008 and still recruits the state hard. He currently has four commits in the 2016 class from the state of Florida and Becker could realistically become the fifth if all goes as planned.

Right now, the race for Becker seems to be between Florida State and Ohio State with the Seminoles the favorite to land the in-state prospect. Don’t be surprised if Ohio State swoops in and snags Becker, though, as Meyer is one of the nation’s most dominant forces in the recruiting ranks.
