Dwyane Wade can still get up when he wants to, and tonight he got some height on his jump when defending the rim.

Terrence Ross thought he had an easy dunk with Hassan Whiteside not on the floor, but he didn’t account for Wade turning back the clock and saying not on his basket. The lesson here? Always go strong at the rim, and dunk with such a ferocity that the player trying to block the dunk is turned into nothing but dust.

It might be a little surprising to see a guard like Wade with a big man type block, but not so long ago there might have not been a better wing in the NBA at blocking jumpshots. Wade always gets a few solid blocks per year, and this dunk rejection is up there for top blocks in his career.
