Jerry Rice went undercover as a Lyft driver and shockingly none of these people recognized him.Â
Jerry Rice is quite possibly the greatest wide receiver to ever play the game of football. Yes, I know, I know — I didn’t really say anything there that you all really didn’t know already. However, given his stature, you’d expect that if you’re sitting in a car right next to him you’re gonna recognize him. Furthermore, if you’re from San Francisco and you’re sitting in a car with him, you’re probably gonna be all over the fact that you’re sitting by one of the greatest of all-time and a San Fran icon.
Apparently, that’s not really the case.
Rice was the latest high-profile person to take part as an undercover driver for Lyft, and he did so right in San Francisco where he made a name for himself, and also where Super Bowl 50 is being held this week. Well these folks that got into the car with him had really no clue who they were sitting by.
To make matters just a little more embarrassing, some of them even admit to being lifelong 49ers fans.
Well now that’s just sad. Come on, San Francisco folks! Do better than this, especially those of you who admitted to being Niners fans.
