National Signing Day 2016: What time is Rashan Gary’s announcement on ESPN?

Rashan Gary will be making his final decision on Wednesday but what time will that be taking place on ESPN?

National Signing Day has finally arrived here during the first week of February, and on Wednesday we will see a number of the best high school football players from around the nation make their final college football decisions.

But not to take away from all the other amazing players that will be signing their letters on Wednesday, however, there are a few that stand out above all the rest. Defensive tackle Rashan Gary from Paramus Catholic High School in Paramus, New Jersey is one of those players. And he also happens to be the No. 1 overall recruit in the country, according to Scout.com.

Now as far as Gary’s decision goes, he’s down to two schools — the Michigan Wolverines and the Clemson Tigers. Throughout most of his recruitment, Gary was seen as a lock to head off to Ann Arbor to play for the Wolverines. But, as of late, Clemson has swooped in and got his attention. So for right now as we head into Wednesday, while there’s still a pretty good chance that he will stick with Jim Harbaugh and Michigan, you can’t rule Clemson out just yet. This is a team that could use the help next year on the defensive line as they look to head back to the College Football Playoff, and Gary could have an immediate spot in that rotation somewhere.

As is the case with all the No. 1 overall recruits that have yet to make their decision, this will be an intriguing announcement to say the least. And the best part about it is, like every year, you can watch him make that decision live on ESPN. As of this time, Gary’s announcement is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. ET, meaning that you’ll be able to see it all on ESPN2 and you can also stream it live with the WatchESPN app.
