Broncos defensive coordinator Wade Phillips would greatly appreciate it if NFL players stop asking him for a job over Twitter

Everybody seems to want to play for the Denver Broncos these days. A lot of that has to do with defensive coordinator Wade Phillips. Phillips has always been extremely popular among players because he seems to know how to get the most out of every player and utilizes every individual to their respective strengths. That makes it a lot of fun, and often financially rewarding, to play under the son of Bum.

Earlier this season, safety Shiloh Keo tweeted Phillips asking him for a job. To his great fortune, Keo wound up being signed by the Denver Broncos a week later.

Players have apparently been annoying Wade Phillips over Twitter for jobs ever since that happened. The coach has had enough of it.

“No. In fact, if people would quit Twittering me now to try to get on the team, I would appreciate it,” Phillips said, via USA Today. “I’ve had tons of people saying, ‘Hey, I played in junior high and I know I can help you.”

Phillips was at least familiar with Keo when the latter tweeted for a job. Phillips knew Keo from his days with the Houston Texans. The Keo story is a great narrative, but please stop annoying Phillips over Twitter for a job, guys, the man is kinda busy right now.
