2. Acquire Ryan Anderson

If Morris goes elsewhere and Z-Bo stays off-limits, Ryan Anderson would be an intelligent addition at power forward for the Wizards. The Pelicans big man is having a great season despite playing for one of the worst teams in the league, and perhaps the idea of joining a team that made some major noise in the playoffs last season could appeal to Anderson given the grim outlook in New Orleans these days.

Granted, the state of the Wizards isn’t much better at the moment, but the notion of rotating Anderson in with Wall, Beal, and center Marcin Gortat makes a lot of sense if you’re looking for an improved starting lineup in Washington. As of now, Gortat is the only legitimate threat at the post for Washington, and as a result opposing teams aren’t afraid to attack the rim and get physical in the paint.

The reality of the situation is that power forward is the most glaring weakness on this team, and whether it’s Morris, Randolph, Anderson, or someone else, the Wizards need to do address this area pronto. The current combination of Nene, Jared Dudley, Kris Humphries, and DeJuan Blair is one of the worst depth charts in the league.
