Donyell Marshall believes that Steph Curry will eventually break his record for most three pointers in a game

Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry has twice come within one three pointer from tying the NBA record for most three pointers in a game. The record is currently held by Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers and Donyell Marshall. Marshall showed a ton of respect for Curry and admitted he believes fans haven’t even seen the best from Curry yet.

Marshall hit 12 three pointers against the Philadelphia 76ers on May 12, 2005 while he was playing for the Toronto Raptors in an unforgettable performance that was likely the highlight of his career.

Donyell Marshall averaged 11.2 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game during his career. Marshall’s career high for points per game was set in the 1997-1998 season when he played for the Warriors. Over his career, he hit 35 percent of his three pointers and had a field goal percentage of 43.5 percent overall.

That’s very classy of Marshall to tweet his respect to Curry. Curry is going to break the NBA record for most three pointers made in a game at some point. It’s not a question of if he’ll do it. Rather, it’s a matter of when he’ll do it and who he’ll be facing when he does it.
