Unranked Kansas State knocked off the No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners.

March Madness isn’t even here but there is already some crazy finishes in college basketball. On Saturday night the No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners fell to the unranked Kansas State Wildcats at Bramlage Coliseum. That drops the Sooners to 7-3 in the Big 12 and interestingly enough moves them into second place, 0.5 games behind the West Virginia Mountaineers, who are also in action on Saturday night.

Three stars

  1. Wesley Iwundu, F, Kansas State – Iwundu had 22 points in the game, shot 7-of-11 from the field. He added seven assists and three steals.
  2. Dean Wade, F, Kansas State – Wade had 17 points in 27 minutes, also shooting 7-of-11 from the field. He added seven rebounds, three assists and a steal.
  3. Buddy Hield, G, Oklahoma – Hield continues to be the star on the Oklahoma team, and added 23 points on Saturday. He was a less efficient 7-of-16 from the field, but added four rebounds and two assists.
