Super Bowl 50: Taraji P. Henson mixes up Coldplay and Maroon 5 (Photo)

Actress Taraji P. Henson was so excited for the Super Bowl 50 halftime, that she didn’t know who was performing.

The Super Bowl 50 halftime featuring Coldplay, Bruno Mars and Beyonce was a sight to behold on Super Bowl Sunday. Everyone was talking about the big performance and no one knew what was going to happen next during the performance.

One person that was excited for the halftime performance was actress Taraji P. Henson. Henson showed off her excitement for the halftime show by saying how much she was excited on Instagram to finally see Maroon 5 perform. The problem is that Maroon 5 wasn’t performing, but rather Coldplay was the main act.

It’s hard to see how she mixed the two up, as the two bands really don’t sound anything like. Everyone quickly roasted Henson immediately for the mistake that she made on Instagram.

Everyone has known for weeks that Coldplay was performing the halftime show, so it’s hard to figure out how she got the idea that Maroon 5 was performing. Anyway, the halftime show was something else just like it always is and everyone there seemed to enjoy it. Perhaps next time Henson’s at a Maroon 5 concert, she will wonder where Coldplay is.
