Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy was involved in a “fight” with two off-duty police officers.

It looks like Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy had an interesting way of celebrating Super Bowl weekend. McCoy and Curtis Brinkley were reportedly involved in an altercation with off-duty police officers.

Gonzalez’s report includes the following details:

  • Occurred at an Old City night club, Recess at 2:45 a.m.
  • “A dispute over the purchase of champagne” when Brinkley “grabbed the  bottle”

So it sounds like some dudes who were all full of themselves and egos run amok, the off-duty officers and the players, got all macho over some liquor in the final hours of a long night of partying.

But Candice Womer of ABC News revealed more disturbing details that paints a much more serious picture:

  • Both officers were hospitalized as a result of the incident
  • The men were not arrested

If the extent of the injuries were true, you’d have to think that the off-duty officers would be pursuing charges or a civil suit to recoup medical expenses.

This situation is still unfolding, stay tuned to FanSided for more details as they become available.
