The NBA trade deadline is rapidly approaching and the rumors are intensifying. In preparation, here’s a look at a trade for every team to consider.

With the February 18 deadline right around the corner, NBA trade rumors continue to fly around all corners of the Internet. It’s a time of year that most fans love. Whether they want to fantasize about unbelievable franchise-altering trades or they just want to see which stars could be on the move, it’s a great time for speculation and discussion.

So, in the excitement of the days leading up to deadline day, let’s look at one possible trade that each team should pursue. Of course, there are multiple possibilities for most teams, but these are some suggestions that could prove beneficial for both parties involved.

As is often the case, we may see some deals take place that aren’t perfect. There may be some settling involved in order to remove unwanted contracts, create cap space, readjust the roster for next season, or bring in talent to avoid losing a key player in free agency for nothing. That’s just what happens in the business of the NBA when salary, personalities and rebuilding (aka tanking for some) comes into the equation.

Will the Boston Celtics finally translate some of their assets into a star? Will the Miami Heat figure out if Hassan Whiteside is leaving in the summer and try to trade him to prevent total loss? Will a team in need of a new point guard be able to land Jeff Teague?

No one can know for sure, but it’s always interesting to look at the possibilities.

Let the discussion and hypothesizing commence.
