Rodney Hood started off the season as nothing more than a role player, but as the year has gone on he’s slowly increased his role with the Utah Jazz through some incredible play. Teams are reaching the point where they can’t ignore Hood any longer, because he’ll make them pay. Well, except for the Dallas Mavericks. Someone forget to tell them.

Such a clutch moment, and what an incredible make from Hood. Chandler Parsons played perfect defense on Hood and couldn’t have played him any better. Sometimes, the shot just goes in, and this time Hood made the game tying shot to send it to overtime.

The best part of the shot is how Hood is off balance when taking the shot, and he falls down to the ground after landing. Once he drains the shot through instead of getting up and celebrating he gets ready to run back on defense without any emotion at all. Nothing scarier than when someone hits a big shot and acts like they were going to make it the entire time.
