Russell Westbrook is a man of the people. And when one of those (presumably inebriated) people shows him support during a postgame presser, he won’t ignore it or chide it. He will celebrate it.

Fresh off winning his second consecutive NBA All-Star Game MVP award, Westbrook ended his media availability with a shoutout to—and magazine cover pose in the name of—a background supporter:

We have no idea who this random Westbrook proponent is, or how he ended up in such close proximity to this postgame scrum. Likewise, we also have no clue how many Maple Manhattans or Avocado Gimlets he guzzled down before deciding it was appropriate to profess his incorruptible, if ill-timed, fandom love for the Oklahoma City Thunder superhero.

All we know is that this random, aimless ally will forever remain Westbrook’s “man.”
