The Rockets might have a Dwight Howard suitor in the Hornets, but there are some issues.

As the NBA Trade Deadline on Thursday approaches, one of the bigger names that everyone is going to keep an eye on is Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard. He’s been the subject of recent talks as of late, and as that deadline day draws closer, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not he stays or goes.

Of course, there are a lot of teams out there that believe they could use the veteran big man, and one of those teams are the Charlotte Hornets, who have already proven that they’re ready to be active. However, much like some of the other teams might, they’ve run into a bit of a snag.

As we know, any team that wants to grab Howard from the Rockets will have to pay a hefty price, and that seems to be a small problem for the Hornets in locking a deal down with Houston.

Howard could be an asset to this young Hornets team, so it makes sense that they would make a run at this. But again, anyone that wants to land Howard in a mega deal will have to give up a lot to the Rockets, and Charlotte just might not have enough.

It’s going to be an interesting few days when it comes to Dwight Howard.
