WWE Fastlane 2016 results: Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch vs Tamina and Naomi highlights

A look at what happened in this Fastlane match between Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch vs Tamina and Naomi.

On Sunday night, there was two Divas matches featured on the WWE Fastlane match card. One of them was a WWE Divas Championship and another was a tag match with possible title implications.

Sasha Banks split from Team B.A.D. shortly after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view as she looked to go on her own. Naomi and Tamina didn’t appreciate this, so they attacked her on numerous occasions.

The Boss needed an ally and it turned out to be former friend Becky Lynch. They haven’t been getting along, but to take down Tamina and Naomi, they will have to work together at Fastlane. If they win, a chance at Charlotte’s title may be in the works for WrestleMania.

Naomi and Tamina are out to try to stop Becky and Sasha.

Can this partnership last?

Sasha and Becky would get some quick offense on Naomi and Tamina early on in this Fastlane match.

This wouldn’t last long, though, as the heels took over. It was highlighted by Naomi’s leg drop on Becky.

After waiting for a while on the ring apron, Sasha tagged in and hit a flurry of offense on Naomi. This saw multiple double knees and a backstabber.

Tamina would break up the Bank Statement, though.

A little while later, Sasha would put on the Bank Statement on Tamina to get the submission victory.

This was a fun opener for the Fastlane PPV. Lynch and Banks got the expected victory and it should lead them for bigger and better things to come. This may be in the form of a triple threat match at WrestleMania 32 for the WWE Divas Championship.
