More likely to happen the next time they play, the Golden State Warriors win by 30 or the Portland Trail Blazers win again?

Ryne Prinz (@ryneprinz): Golden State doesn’t take too kindly to losing, so I’ll roll with the former.

Taylor Smith (@TaylorBojangles): Considering how often it seems the Warriors win by 30+, it’s hard to say otherwise.

Donnie Kolakowski (@donniebuckets): I’ll go the other way and say Blazers win. Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum can get hot enough to pull off another upset, and, although I think it’s unlikely, that seems more likely than Golden State winning by 30.

Dan Favale (@danfavale): Definitely the Warriors winning by 30. Stephen Curry holds grudges.

Matt Cianfrone (@Matt_Cianfrone): There is no way the Warriors lose the next time these two play, so by default I am taking them by 30 which will be insane when they win by that much even though Damian Lillard drops 45.

Have you heard the name Sean Marks before?

Prinz: Is he a Vine star or something?

Smith: Does he write for The Vertical?

Kolakowski: Totally. I so did not check his Wikipedia when he was announced as GM.

Favale: I most definitely knew he was the Spurs’ assistant GM (I swear), and I totally remembered that he played in the NBA for 11 years (I’m lying).

Cianfrone: I had heard the name before but I just assumed it was Gregg Popovich’s spy name and not an actual real person.

Damian Lillard just released his newest rap song. Is he a better rapper than Shump?

Prinz: I think Dame takes the throne, but I think that it should be decided via a rap battle whenever the Blazers and Cavs each other play next.

Smith: I’ve only seen Lillard rap, so I guess I’ll have to go with that. He’s no Carlos Arroyo, though.

Kolakowski: Yeah. Shump is pretty good, but Lillard’s lyricism is more impressive, IMO. I’m all for a rap off as well.

Favale: Clearly Lillard in my book. Just seems more creative overall. As a side note: Just once I’d like to see an NBA player headline a pop-punk band.

Cianfrone: I am currently too afraid to say anything remotely negative about Dame because I am seeing what he is doing while mad at people. So Dame is clearly better.

What are you looking forward to the most in the second half of the season?

Prinz: We still have three Spurs/Warriors games to be played. THREE!

Smith: What’s the over/under on games Golden State loses in the playoffs? Two? Three?

Kolakowski: Seeing whether San Antonio, Oklahoma City or Cleveland can get to another gear in the second half of the season to be ready to compete with Golden State come playoff time.

Favale: Watching the development of the Celtics. With the exception of their occasional dud, they’re so freaking fun to watch, and it wouldn’t surprise me if they emerged as the biggest “threat” to Cleveland in the East.

Cianfrone: It is the boring answer but the Warriors chasing history. I like seeing things that have not happened before and that I can tell my children about so I want to see 73 wins.
