North Carolina Tar Heels vs. NC State Wolfpack

The North Carolina Tar Heels suffered a tough loss last week to their biggest rivals in the Duke Blue Devils, but rebounded with a resounding victory over a tough Miami Hurricanes team. Now they’ll look to keep rolling in another rivalry matchup on Wednesday night as they make the short trip to PNC Arena to take on the NC State Wolfpack.

Brice Johnson is a walking double-double right now for North Carolina and has far and away been the Tar Heels’ most consistent force. However, the Heels need Marcus Paige and Justin Jackson to start stepping up to the occasion on a more consistent basis if they want to reach their goal of competing for a national title. NC State has been struggling this season, but Cat Barber is one of the most dominant individual forces in college basketball. If Barber and Abdul-Malik Abu can step up, they’ll have at least a shot at knocking off rivals North Carolina.
