5. Philadelphia Eagles

Chip Kelly gets fired by the Philadelphia Eagles and ends up with the San Francisco 49ers. How ironic would it be if Colin Kaepernick then got traded by the 49ers to the Eagles?

The Eagles are heading into their first season under new head coach Doug Pederson and the team has plenty of quarterback questions surrounding them. Sam Bradford is reportedly asking for a lot of money from the team and his injury history and production just don’t seem to justify the dollars that he desires.

Pederson has been known to do exceptional work with quarterbacks and he could possibly turn Kaepernick back around for the better again. His $11.9 million salary would certainly be a much cheaper option than what Bradford wants and it would give the Eagles a new look at quarterback. Now if the 49ers’ asking price is too high, then the Eagles should balk at that as well.

The whole idea is just genuinely amusing. Kelly could use a guy like Kaepernick to run his offense, but Kaepernick wants out and the thought of him landing in Kelly’s old spot makes it even better.

Regardless of whether or not the Eagles chase Kaepernick, they are going to have to make big decisions at the quarterback spot soon.
