The best sleepers at each position for DraftKings daily fantasy basketball on Thursday, Feb. 25
The NBA was in the highest of gears on Wednesday night as two-thirds of the league was in action with 10 games on the schedule. As is customary, the action will die down a bit on Thursday night with there only being six games on the schedule for the night. That leaves just 12 teams taking the floor for daily fantasy basketball players to comprise their DraftKings lineups using and 12 rosters for DFS players to fish through to try and find the day’s best sleepers.
With all of the action on Wednesday night around the NBA, it’s not surprising in the least that there were numerous sleepers that came up with big-time performances to supplement the high salary plays like Stephen Curry and Hassan Whiteside and their big performances. Los Angeles Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell ($4,900) came up in a big way with 40 fantasy points in DraftKings scoring. Matt Barnes ($5,000) also had a nice night against the Lakers, putting up 43.5 fantasy points. Taj Gibson ($4,900) and Dirk Nowitzki ($6,100) were both huge with 39.75 and 44.5 fantasy points, respectively. Perhaps the most surprising, though, was New York Knicks point guard Jose Calderon ($4,000) who finished the night with 35 fantasy points.
The action on Thursday night will get underway with the Golden State Warriors staying out east to face the Orlando Magic with a 7 p.m. ET tip. The Milwaukee Bucks will then take on the Boston Celtics with a 7:30 p.m. ET followed by the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. New Orleans Pelicans tipping at 8 p.m. ET. After that, the Brooklyn Nets will square off with the Phoenix Suns with a 9 p.m. ET tip-off. The night of NBA action will then conclude with two games at 10:30 p.m. ET with the Houston Rockets vs. Portland Trail Blazers and the San Antonio Spurs vs. Utah Jazz.
As always, be sure that you are staying up to date with the FanSided fantasy basketball hub for all you daily fantasy basketball needs. There, DFS players will find advice for the best sleepers, the best high salary options, and the best value picks for the day for both DraftKings and FanDuel.
