There’s no bigger and better independent wrestling promotion in North America than Ring of Honor (ROH) to the point that they almost are too big to even be considered an indie at this point. There’s a reason that WWE has pulled endless strings of talent from ROH in recent years and the current generation of ROH stars will be in the spotlight on Friday night for the ROH 14th Anniversary Show live from Sam’s Town Live Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

Current ROH World Champion Jay Lethal will defend his title on Friday night against two highly capable and worthy contenders, Adam Cole (Bay Bay) and Kyle O’Reilly, in a triple threat match in the main event. As you’d expect for the main event, this has the potential to be one of the best matches of 2016 to date.
However, the ROH 14th Anniversary Show is special as it features a slew of wrestlers from New Japan Pro Wrestling as part of the two companies’ working relationship with one another. Therefore, the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and several others from NJPW will be in action in Vegas. Moreover, some of ROH’s other big stars like Dalton Castle, The Briscoes, Roderick Strong, and Moose will also be in action. For those who are interested, a cult-hero in the wrestling world in Cheeseburger is also slated to appear, though a match isn’t signed.
