Hassan Whiteside stares down Carmelo Anthony after dunk (Video)

Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside stared down New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony after dunking on him.

Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside has never been afraid to mix it up with an opponent, but on Sunday night, he decided to stare down one of the best in the league. With the Heat taking on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, Whiteside threw down a vicious dunk over Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony.

Whiteside was so fired up from the dunk, that he began to stare down Anthony after the dunk. Anthony stared back at him and stood there wondering what exactly Whiteside’s problem was.

Whiteside has always had an edge to him, but that’s also part of what makes him such a good center in this league. His edge is also what’s gotten him in trouble on the court. Still though, it’s hard to blame him for being fired up after a big dunk.

He’s hardly the first person to stare an opponent down after throwing down a dunk and he certainly won’t be the last one to do so either. He’s set to get paid big in the offseason and he’s playing out of his mind.

If that means mixing it up with some of the best in the league, then Whiteside is going to do it.
